Web Developer
The role is to design, develop and support web applications. You will work within a team using XHTML, PHP, CSS Ajax and MYSQL amongst other technologies.
The position may entail working on multiple projects at the same time as new sites are developed alongside support for existing sites. Taking direction from an internal project manager and/or a senior developer, you will work to set briefs to deliver the requirements of the application. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to engage with the business in learning, developing and exploring new technologies, and then sharing this with the rest of the business.
Essential Experience:
* Must have the ability to build effective dynamic web applications using PHP (including MVC Frameworks), MYSQL CSS, XHTML, AJAX.
* Experience of working with PHP5 frameworks and CMS systems.
* Demonstrate working to timescales and deadlines.
* Experience of PHP Object Orientated programming.
* Strong skills in JavaScript, AJAX, XML.
* Detailed understanding of and exposure to HTML, CSS, Javascript and SQL.
* Manage customer relations effectively.
* Deliver high quality work
Desirable Experience:
* Experience of user interface design.
* Experience of code libraries, Smarty Templating, and Web Application Frameworks.

Qualifications:
* IT or Computer Science degree is desirable.
* Graphic Design qualifications would also be an advantage.
